The State will showcase its heritage, wildlife, coastal, wellness, MICE and responsible tourism experiences

BENGALURU, KARNATAKA, INDIA, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Karnataka Tourism will participate in the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Mumbai 2026, scheduled to be held from 20–22 August 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The Karnataka Tourism pavilion will showcase the State's diverse tourism offerings while engaging with travel trade professionals, tour operators, destination management companies, hospitality stakeholders and visitors from Mumbai, Maharashtra and across Western India.

TTF Mumbai, part of India's established travel trade show network, provides a platform for tourism boards, destinations, hospitality brands and travel companies to connect with travel buyers and industry professionals. The 2026 edition is expected to bring together more than 500 exhibitors and 9,000 trade professionals, providing an opportunity for destinations to engage with Maharashtra's outbound, leisure and corporate travel segments.

Recognizing Mumbai and Maharashtra as important travel markets, Karnataka Tourism's participation will focus on strengthening relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel planners and other industry partners. Officials and participating tourism stakeholders will engage with visitors and the travel trade throughout the three-day exhibition, sharing destination information, promotional material and insights into Karnataka's varied tourism circuits.

At the Karnataka pavilion, the State will present a broad portfolio spanning heritage, wildlife, nature, coastal, cultural, wellness, adventure, MICE and responsible tourism. The showcase will bring together established destinations and emerging experiences, with travel options suited to leisure travelers, families, corporate groups and special-interest segments.

Karnataka's heritage landscape includes the Group of Monuments at Hampi, the Group of Monuments at Pattadakal and the Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas, recognized by UNESCO for their architectural and cultural significance. The State's landscapes also form part of the Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, complementing its heritage attractions with rich biodiversity and nature-based experiences.

The State's wildlife and nature offerings include destinations such as Bandipur National Park, Nagarahole National Park, Biligiri Ranganatha (BRT) Tiger Reserve and the forest landscapes of the Western Ghats. Karnataka's coastline along the Arabian Sea further adds a distinct dimension to its tourism portfolio, with destinations including Karwar, Gokarna, Murudeshwar, Malpe and Ullal offering beaches, coastal cuisine, pilgrimage experiences and water-based activities.

Responsible and nature-based tourism will also form an important part of Karnataka's destination narrative, with emphasis on experiences that respect local communities, cultural heritage and natural ecosystems. Wildlife tourism, eco-tourism, community-linked experiences and wellness retreats across the State provide travelers with opportunities to engage with Karnataka's destinations in a more conscious and meaningful manner.

Karnataka's cultural identity is reflected through its festivals, cuisine, handicrafts and living traditions, while Bengaluru's strong technology, business and innovation ecosystem supports the State's growing potential for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE). Together, these offerings position Karnataka as a destination capable of catering to a wide range of travel interests throughout the year.

Through its participation at TTF Mumbai 2026, Karnataka Tourism aims to expand destination awareness, pursue opportunities for itinerary development and collaborative promotion with travel partners in Maharashtra and Western India.
